Proving once again that Twitter is truly the great mediator, feuding rappers Wale and Kid Cudi have publicly made amends, using the social media platform to communicate their reconciliation.

The beef began in September of last year, when Cudi took offense to a line Wale spit in a freestyle, making reference to an altercation Cudi had with an audience member earlier that year. In an interview with Complex, Cudi responded by criticizing the D.C. rapper for "acting like he's bigger than he is," dissing Wale's "simple ass rapping," and claiming that he and Kanye "don't f--- with" Wale "musically."

Today, after almost five months, Cudi reached out to Wale, tweeting a simple "yooo," to which Wale responded, "yo."

Though the feuding MC's fell silent after that, Rap Radar honcho Elliott Wilson tweeted that he had spoken with Wale, who confirmed that he and Cudi had made up. "Wale and Cudi did speak. Beef squashed," Wilson revealed.

Following Wilson's tweet, Cudi extended yet another Twitter olive branch. "It's never too late to make things right," Cudi wrote, to which Wale replied "GOOD x MMG ...of course," hinting at a collaboration of their respective labels.

Cudi's Twitter account has been busy of late; yesterday the G.O.O.D. Music rapper announced via Twitter that he had parted ways with his manager and imprint, Dream On. He is currently working on his forthcoming rock album, 'Wizard.' No word as to whether he is now "f---ing with Wale, musically," but we wouldn't be surprised.
