After dropping some new songs and doing a good job of not getting into any new social media wars in a while, XXXTentacion released his long-awaited debut album 17 today (Aug. 25).

The 10-song-release, the Florida rapper said, is not for those who want to turn up or have mindless fun. Instead, it's an LP that speaks to those who deal with deep inner struggles. XXX made it clear that 17 is the best work of his career so far.

"It's my first body of work, first official album release and the first time I've put all into a project. I mean it when I say this project is absolutely amazing," he said earlier this month. "If you listen to me to get hype or to not think, don't buy this album. This one is for the depression, for the depressed ones. For the lost ones."

The 19-year-old said the same thing when he posted himself listening to songs from the new album on Instagram.

"This album is meant for people who suffer thru depression he wrote."

A few weeks ago, XXXTentacion starting prepping folks for the new LP by dropping the single "Ok Shorty!" and recently released that disturbing video that had a lot of people talking.
