XXXTentacion is already facing seven felony charges but now prosecutors have added eight additional charges, bring his total to 15, and they are all related to witness tampering.

According to TMZ, prosecutors believe that the alleged witness tampering occured in October 2016 when the Florida rapper was initially arrested for domestic violence for allegedly beating up his then-pregnant ex-girlfriend. Law enforcement sources said that the “Look at Me” rapper made multiple phone calls while he was locked up, which have been recorded. Those recorded phone calls is what led prosecutors to add the eight additional charges.

As we previously reported, XXXtentacion was hit with seven felonies last week, which include different degrees of witness tampering and witness harassment related to his domestic assault case. Prosecutors believe he coerced his ex-girlfriend to not testify against him.

Earlier this month, the alleged victim asked for the charges to be dropped, which resulted in a delay of his trial. In addition to the 15 felony charges, X is already facing charges of battery against a pregnant woman and false imprisonment.

If he gets convicted on the witness tampering charges, the rapper could face decades in prison. XXXtentacion's attorney had no comment on the matter.
