Joey Bada$$ Announces XXXTentacion Collaborative Tape, Fans Are Not Thrilled

Joey Bada$$ announced that he’s working on a collaborative project with polarizing rapper XXXTentacion. The Brooklyn rapper revealed the news on his Instagram stories on Saturday (Jan. 20).

“Xxxtentacion x joey badass. collaboration tape,” Joey wrote with XXXTentacion confirming the news on his own Instagram stories.

Granted, XXXTentacion may not be everyone’s cup of tea -- lyrically -- he does have a huge fan base and support from fellow rappers. But his legal case stemming from his 2016 domestic violence incident also puts a dark cloud on his own rap career.

While this is an interesting collaboration, some fans expressed their dismay over the news that Joey and X are working together. However, some people are eager to hear what they are going to bring to the rap game.
