First Ice Cube, now Snoop Dogg. Rappers are hopping on the game show reboot trend. While Cube is executive producing a hip-hop version of Hollywood Squares for VH1, Snoop will join TNT as the host of Joker's Wild, a reboot of the popular 70s game show, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The half-hour game show will be executive produced by Snoop and Michael Strahan, and will be an "updated take" on the old format. Specifically, it will will feature "entertaining mini-games" instead of straight trivia questions like the original series did. Snoop's version will also feature "giant dice, playing cards, streetwise questions and problem solving," with the rapper "calling the shots."

"I'm a huge fan of game shows and The Joker's Wild was my favorite show growing up," said Snoop Dogg, according to THR. "It always matched the flavor and personality of Snoop Dogg! Me and the Snoopadelic team are excited to bring back the show and put my own personal touch on it. Get ready ya'll, it's gonna be a wild ride!"

No word yet on when the new game show series will air, but Snoop's new album, Neva Left, drops this Friday.
