First a show with Martha Stewart, and now a cook book. Snoop Dogg has announced that he is releasing a cookbook, From Crook to Cook, through Chronicle Books in October 2018.

The book, which can be pre-ordered here, will feature 50 recipes from the OG rapper, such as baked mac and cheese, chicken and waffles, soft flour tacos, and more. Oh, and it'll also feature a gin & juice recipe, something he displayed a few months back when he, Top Chef winner Michael Voltaggio and Warren G created a Guinness World Record for making the "largest paradise cocktail" ever.

“You know it’s blazin’ up in my kitchen. I’m takin’ the cookbook game higher with a dipped and whipped collection of my favorite recipes, ya dig?” Snoop said in a statement.

For this book, the recipes will all be cannabis-free, however, if you follow Uncle Snoop at all, you won't be surprised to hear that following the release of this cookbook, he intends to collaborate with Chronicle Books on a line of cannabis-themed books to be released beginning in 2020.

Currently, Snoop stars on VH1’s Emmy-nominated show, Martha and Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party, which is in its second season. He isn't the first rapper to delve into the culinary world. Action Bronson has a Viceland show called, Fuck, That's Delicious, where he explores food culture in various cities. Houston vet, Bun B, also has an entertaining Instagram series, where he shows off some his best recipes.
