Fabolous Makes First Concert Appearance After Disturbing Video Surfaces
Fabolous made his first concert appearance at Terminal 5 in New York on Saturday (March 31), hours after a disturbing video surfaced of him threatening Emily B and her father.
The Brooklyn rhymer was performing with Jadakiss as part of the Freddy Vs Jason concert, where the duo performed their collaborative mixtape together in its entirety. The event also featured a surprise appearance from Lil’ Kim who rapped her latest single, “Spicy” with Fabo.
At the end of the show, Fabolous thanked the crowd for their support. It appears there was solidarity among the audience as they cheered him on. Jadakiss also expressed his support for the rapper.
Prior to his concert appearance, Fabolous was getting jeers from people on social media following a shocking clip that showed the Brooklyn rhymer in a verbal confrontation with Emily B and her father outside of their New Jersey home. In the video, a visibly irate Fabolous confronting Emily B's dad. “I got a bullet with your name on it,” he yelled.
Fabolous' longtime attorney Alberto Ebanks reportedly told TMZ that the incident was only an argument.
"There certainly is no crime being committed," he said. "If what you see in the video were a crime, we'd have to build more jails."
Folks on Twitter expressed their disappointment in the rapper and offered their prayers to Emily and their two children who may have witnessed the altercation while inside the home.
"I ain’t want to believe it at first but damn Fab..shit ain’t looking too good," tweeted one fan, while another person wrote, "Damn Fab, we’re highly disappointed bruh, but ima send prayers to him and his family. This shit is an illness I’m telling you."
