Bobby Shmurda is wasting no time in jail.

With more than a year spent behind bars, the Schmoney dance creator is wiser and ready to take on the world -- pending his trial on May 11. In the meantime, Shmurda is being held on a 23-hour lockdown with two million dollar bail; circumstances the "Hot N----" rapper, who's being held on charges of conspiracy, reckless endangerment, criminal possession of a weapon and criminally using drug paraphernalia, has been contesting for months.

But he's remaining hopeful and has a business plan that he hopes will make him "bigger" than Jay Z and Diddy.

"When I get home man, it’s on," Shmurda, born Ackquille Pollard, told VIBE in a phone interview. "When I got locked up, I saw how fast you could lose things. So now I regret a lot of things that I didn’t do quick enough because the label, unfortunately, wants to wait for certain things, or wait for this and that. But when I get home, I’m dropping stuff back-to-back. Videos back-to-back. Mixtapes back-to-back. I’m going to drop like four albums in a row. I’m going hard."

And time behind bars hasn't stopped Shmurda from paying attention to politics. He believes there's one woman running who should get the job.

"I like Hillary more because she’s into the people," he said. "You know they’ve said that women can’t run the country, but I feel like she’s more independent. She’s got a strong mind state. But Donald Trump’s an asshole. I don’t care, but he’s an asshole. I definitely don’t want him as our president. [Laughs] The things that be coming out of his mouth is crazy." We hear that. But considering that Clinton  lost the last six primary elections to Bernie Sanders, she probably could have used that endorsement about a week ago. See what we did there?
