6LACK is one of hottest R&B singers in the game right now. His 2016 debut album FREE 6LACK has been celebrated by both fans and critics alike. So it’s only right that he gets recognized by Apple Music in their “Up Next” campaign this week.

To further cement his place in the R&B game, 6LACK made his late-night television debut on Thursday (April 20) on CBS’ Late Late Show With James Corden. The 24-year-old singer delivered a haunting performance of the “PRBLMS” from the LP.

Backed by a live band and a group of violinists, 6LACK gave his song an orchestral vibe as opposed to the original song’s moody Trap&B motif. The singer stood on a square that lit up like a waterfall while the floor flickered purple and blue colors.

This is a good look for 6LACK, as Apple will continue to promote his songs on Apple Music playlists, Beats 1 and the iTunes store. In the meantime, 6LACK will embark on a U.S. tour next week. The trek kicks off April 25 in Seattle, Wash., and wraps up Aug. 6 in Chicago.
