Dave Chappelle, Lil Uzi Vert and More Performing at 2018 Roots Picnic
Every year, the Roots Picnic keeps getting better and better. This summer, the festival will be headlined by The Roots with veteran funnyman Dave Chappelle hosting the festivities.
Also headlining the festival is Lil Uzi Vert, the Diplomats (aka Dipset), Rapsody, Brandy, 2 Chainz, dvsn, Rich the Kid, 6lack and more.
In addition to the aforementioned performers, Black Thought returns with his live mixtape set with J.Period featuring Fabolous and Jadakiss who will performing tracks from their Friday on Elm Street project.
There are some new additions to the Roots Picnic this year. There's a Podcast Stage where fans can watch and listen to live episodes of Drinking Champs, On One With Angela Rye, Questlove Supreme, ItstheReal and The Realest Podcast Ever.
There's also a Lifestyle stage featuring video game tournaments, fashion panel, art panel and more.
The 2018 Roots Picnic festival will take place at Philly’s Festival Pier on June 2. Tickets will go on sale this Friday (Feb. 16) at noon at rootspicnic.com. Don't sleep because tickets will sell out within minutes.
