After a five-year hiatus, Souls of Mischief are set to be back in a big way this summer with the release of their new album, 'There Is Only Now.' Having recently shared the first single from the project -- the gritty title track featuring fellow West Coast O.G. Snoop Dogg -- the Heiroglyphics crew waste no time in following up with the song's official video, which blends a romantic narrative with '90s nostalgia.

Opening with a cameo from A Tribe Called Quest's Ali Shaheed Muhammad, who plays the DJ for fictional Oakland radio station K-NOW and narrates the whole album, the fuzzy clip follows a young couple in love who, despite facing life's toughest decisions, persevere and remain by each other's side. Because, like Souls of Mischief taught us 21 years ago, some things can last until infinity.

Produced entirely by Adrian Younge (Jay Z 'Heaven,' Ghostface Killah '12 Reasons to Die'), 'There Is Only Now' drops Aug. 26 via Linear Labs. The title track is available to purchase now on iTunes.
