Here’s some positive news in relation to Kanye West. Fellow Chicago rapper-activist Rhymefest has purchased ‘Ye’s childhood home and plans to convert it into Donda’s House.

The Grammy and Oscar-winning artist went on his Instagram page and inform his fans of his community endeavor for his beloved city. He writes:

I'm excited to announce the purchase of Kanye's childhood home as a community Arts incubator. It will be the first of our Nationwide Lite-Houses. A state of the art recording studio, a curriculum space for @dondashouse and southside music [museum]. We want to show bright spots in communities thatve been divested from, we know more Lights exist here, they just need to be activated. For those of you unfamiliar with Donda's House, it's a nonprofit organization that supports aspiring Chicago youth through education and music programs. And, of course, the organization is named after West's late mother, Dr. Donda West.

"Donda’s House is committed to the success of Chicago’s young creatives and this property will help these young people flourish," said Rhymefest on purchasing West's childhood home.
