Kim Kardashian ‘Breaks Down’ Drama with Donda’s House and Rhymefest
Kim Kardashian wasn't finished dragging Rhymefest on her Twitter timeline. On Sunday (May 27), the reality star continued her feud with the Oscar-winning rapper by breaking down what is really going on with the non-profit organization Donda’s House.
As we previously reported, on Saturday (May 26), Kim clapped back at Rhymefest who accused Kanye West of abandoning the youth in his hometown of Chicago.
Rhymefest, real name Che Smith, is in charge of Donda’s House, which was created in honor of ‘Ye’s late mother, Dr. Donda West. The organization is going through some financial struggles so Rhymefest went on Twitter and asked for a donation from Drake who released his Pusha T diss song, which also contained some lyrical jabs directed at West.
Kim felt that it was a selfish act on Rhymefest's part and slammed him for it. "U haven’t been right since u got kicked out of the studio in Hawaii wearing fake Yeezy’s," she tweeted. "You’re over levergenging Kanye’s name & asked Kanye to donate money to u so stop w your fake community politics & lies. Truth is you haven’t been able to sustain the foundation."
But Kim wasn't done yet. The celebutante went on Twitter today (May 27) and broke down why West absolved himself from Donda's House altogether. In a barrage of tweets, Kim accused Rhymefest of being unable to manage Donda's House properly.
"Kanye and Donda started a charity called Loop Dreams. When Donda passed, they changed the name to Donda’s House. Kanye paid Rhymefest a salary to run it," she tweeted.
"After several years of lack of performance from the organization and Kanye going through personal financial issues, he could no longer fund salaries. Rhymefest asked to take it over and Kanye agreed with no financial strings attached," she continued. "Kanye gave his 'friend' an opportunity to run an organization on his own. So now that Kanye is being publicly shamed for not being involved makes no sense and, at this exact time, just seems very calculated."
Kim goes on to say that she supports any endeavors that uplifts the community but will not stand for someone slandering her husband's name and use his late mother to publicly shame him.
"I will always ride for my man!" she concluded.
Since Kim and Rhymefest's Twitter spat, officials at Donda's House issued a statement saying that they have renounced the name to Kim and Kanye and will inform their partners about restructuring the organization in the near future.
Kanye West has not yet addressed the matter.
