Pusha T New Album Title: ‘My Name Is My Name’ References ‘The Wire’
Pusha T's performance at New York's Best Buy Theater last night proved to be a very eventful one. Not only did A-Trak and the A$AP Mob show up to perform alongside the Clipse rapper, but he also took a moment to announce his forthcoming album's title.
Taking a line from the hit crime TV show "The Wire," Pusha member announced that his LP will be called My Name Is My Name, which, according to Rap-Up, is a quote from the character Marlo Stanfield's jailhouse declaration.
According to concertgoers like Rap Radar's Elliot Wilson, he also told the audience that the record will be coming out early 2013. His mixtape Wrath of Cain is set to drop before the year's end and he recently released the single "Pain," which features Atlanta-based rapper Future.
