Pusha T and Rick Ross Visit the Hood in ‘Hold On’ Video
When the 'Millions' video was released earlier this year, Pusha T and Rick Ross showcased a more boastful attitude over their earnings in the drug game. The visual for 'Hold On' is more about the cost of that success.
The video fits the somber tone of the track, featured on Pusha's 'My Name Is My Name' album. He switches up the political awareness of 'Pain' for a more emotional approach here, as he travels back to the streets with Ross. There they give a lecture to a classroom full of at-risk young adults.
Despite the duo's efforts to warn the men of the ills that can plague them, a life is taken away when a memorial service is shown.
'Hold On' is the sixth video to come from 'My Name Is My Name,' which has seen decent commercial success. Rick Ross is preparing his upcoming album, 'Mastermind,' for a Dec. 17 release.
