Lil Scrappy Wants No Parts of Bobby V Escort Controversy: ‘Don’t Drag Me In That S—‘
Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star Lil Scrappy was dragged into the Bobby V escort scandal after footage surfaced of him and the singer in a room full of women a gossip site claimed were transgender.
The clip in question (see below) was apparently Scrappy and Bobby V at a video shoot for their collaborative song, “Sucka 4 Luv.” The caption purportedly read, “Lil Scrappy was with Bobby Valentino and a couple of trannys.”
Scrappy jumped on Instagram Live to reiterate that he's heterosexual and doesn’t want to be dragged into Bobby V’s situation.
"Y’all know me, bruh. I don’t play no motherf---ing games. I’m the first n---- to tell y’all mothef---ers y’all better be checking them baby pictures,” he said. “I don’t know cuz's situation, what he like, what he don’t like. I ain’t never did all that," he added. "I just did music with homie. And I ain’t on here trying to talk down on another man, trying to put myself on a pedestal. Y’all know that’s just not what I do.”
As for the video, Scrappy said that the women were not transgender.
“Them real b----es. They might have been ugly bitches, but them were some real b----es," he attests. "N----s just come up with anything, and they wanna put me in it. Don’t drag me in that s---. I ain’t got nothing to do with that s---.”
Since the scandal broke out, Bobby V claims that he's a victim of extortion. The "Slow Down" singer claims he didn’t know the person was transgender.
“Misrepresentation and deception were maliciously used to target Valentino; during the encounter, Valentino was victimized and threatened by acts of extortion which continued after his departure was captured on video,” the rep told TMZ.
