Kid Cudi Releases New Single, ‘REVOFEV’
Following his recent arrest, Kanye West-affiliated rapper Kid Cudi has released his new single. 'REVOFEV,' a cautionary song, of sorts.
On the catchy Plain Pat-produced track, Cudi announces that he is "your big brother," with something to "say to the kids," crooning over Larry Gold-assisted strings, guitar licks and plodding drums, and inquiring "where will you be for the revolution?"
Though 'REVOFEV' doesn't actually have all that much meaning to the kids, Cudi was quick to point out the correct pronunciation of the title on his blog. "Those having trouble pronouncing the title, its REV OF EV which is short for Revolution Of Evolution," Cudi explained. "Just let it flow ... say it how it's spelled."
'REVOFEV' is the first single from Cudi's highly-anticipated sophomore effort, 'Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager,' scheduled for a September 14 release.
