Can Kid Cudi answer phones, run errands and fetch copies as well as he can rap? The rapper, who scored a memorable role on 'How to Make It in America,' will star as Ari Gold's new assistant in the upcoming 'Entourage' movie.

According to Deadline, Cudi (a.k.a. Scott Mescudi) will play main character Ari Gold’s new assistant (after previous gopher Lloyd was promoted). The highly-anticipated 'Entourage' movie follows the popular HBO show about Hollywood bromance. If the TV version is any indication, Cudi will definitely take a lot of verbal and sometimes physical abuse from Ari.

The 'Entourage' movie has a tentative 2015 release date.

Fans may remember the rhymer on the short-lived HBO show 'How to Make It in America,' which was very similar to 'Entourage.' The 'Day 'N' Nite' creator has also wrapped two other movies per Deadline, including 'James White' and 'Two Night Stand.' Before those arrive, he'll play Benny in the action flick 'Need for Speed,' in theaters March 14.

On the music front, the 30-year-old is prepping the release of his fourth studio album, 'Satellite Flight: The Journey to Mother Moon.'
