Kid Cudi Abandons Battle Over His Daughter, Allows Baby’s Mother Full Custody

After a lengthy legal battle, Kid Cudi has given up custody of his baby daughter.

Though not widely reported, for the past year, the "Day 'N' Night" rapper has undergone a bitter legal struggle with the woman, who accused him of being a deadbeat dad with tendencies towards violence, and a "long history of conistent drug and alcohol abuse," according to court documents.

On Aug. 3, Cudi finally capitulated, agreeing to pay child support and allow his baby's mother full custody, receiving visitation rights in return.

Cudi has yet to comment on the court's ruling.
