Kendrick Lamar made some huge strides last year. In the "Alright" rapper's latest PSA, "Pay It Forward," he takes us on his 2015 trip to the White House where he visits President Barack Obama.

The video comes after K.Dot showed the benefits of hard work in another PSA released a few weeks ago. This time, the rhymer is advocating for others to be a mentor.

"As a kid, having a mentor was vital to me. Always being there when it counted. Allowing me to make some of the most important decisions while growing up," says Lamar. "So it's only right that I mentor a younger person with the same wisdom that was given to me. If it helps the next kid become a better person in life, I will forever be aware of my influence and pay it forward."

Lamar's story has been unfolded for fans in numerous projects including good kid M.A.A.D. city, in which he told harrowing tales of growing up in Compton. So it's especially inspiring to see the same "good kid" meet POTUS in the White House. This was a great opportunity for the Grammy-winning rapper especially since President Obama named "How Much a Dollar Cost?" as his favorite song of 2015.

“I sat down with President Barack Obama and shared the same views, topics concerning the inner cities, the problem, the solutions, and further more embracing the youth, both being aware that mentoring saves lives,” revealed Lamar. “Sometimes I reflect and think back, ‘Where would I be if I hadn’t had the presence of an older acquaintance telling me what’s right and what’s wrong?'”

Afterwards, the 28-year-old rapper encouraged viewers to sign up for MENTOR and President Obama's initiative, My Brother's Keeper.
