Elzhi, Phonte and Eric Roberson Deliver on 'Destiny N Stereo'

If you yearning for some smooth boom-bap hip-hop check out Elzhi, Phonte and Eric Roberson’s new track “Destiny N Stereo.” The song will appear on producer Chris Dave and the Drumhedz’s upcoming self-titled album.

On the song, Elzhi and Phonte spit hella bars while Roberson croons the smooth hook over Dave and the Drumhedz’s funky live drumming, haunting synths and robotic scratches. Phonte has the best verse on the song, as he brags about being a ferocious MC who will battle anyone who wants to test him.

"I'm not the average, I'm a man beyond / I'm a champion / A nice steak served over mixed greens topped off with grilled onions / And you weak niggas I'm stomping on," he boasts.

"Destiny N Stereo" is a great head-nodding banger from Chris Dave and the Drumhedz’s self-titled album. The collection, which will arrive at digital platforms on Jan. 26, will feature guest appearances from Anderson .Paak, Bilal, Tweet, Goapele, SiR and others. The LP is available for pre-order right now on iTunes.
