Dave East Shares Artwork for Debut Album ‘Paranoia: A True Story’
After dropping a good number of mixtapes, appearing on countless features and creating a really nice buzz for himself, Dave East is gearing up to drop his debut album called Paranoia: A True Story LP. The Harlem rapper shared the news via Instagram early Monday morning (Aug. 7).
"Official cover. Paranoia. Aug. 18. Freaky Forever. Mugga World," he wrote.
The cover finds the talented spitter dressed down in a t-shirt and blue pants, while sitting in what looks to be a living room with a contemplative look on his face.
Before announcing the new album, East released his Chris Brown-assisted single "Perfect," and a little before that he joined Young M.A. and his mentor Nas at Pandora's #SoundLikeNYC Concert.
In an incredible display of his work ethic, the Def Jam signee teamed up with Fred The Godson on The Bronx rapper's new single "G5," and also hopped on Paloma Ford's cut "Waves."
There's no word yet on when the first single from Paranoia will arrive, but since Aug. 18 is just around the corner, we should be hearing something soon.
