Dave East and Chris Brown Serenade the Ladies on ‘Perfect’ [LISTEN]
Quiet as kept, Dave East is the rap sex symbol of the moment. The Harlem rhymer delivers on that sexiness with his new song, “Perfect, which is the kick-off single for his upcoming project, Paranoia.
On the smooth, trap music-inspired ballad, Dave raps about searching for his perfect woman and how he's going to shower her with love and affection.
"Perfect, that might not describe you (it might) / I need a word, that's much better / I'm trying' to get back up inside you (oh)," he spits, adding, "I wanna know what you like / I wanna know if you smokin', am I strokin' tonight? (oh) / Picture us both, gettin' low on a flight / Love is a gamble, I'm rollin' the dice."
Joining Dave on the track is Chris Brown who is on hook duties. The R&B singer yearns for the perfect woman of his dreams, crooning, "All around the world / And I've been lookin' for you searchin' / You deserve it 'cause you perfect."

As for his debut album, Paranoid, Dave told Billboard that he's working with 4:44 producer No I.D. on the project. "That s--- is looking crazy," he says. "I grew up on Beans, Kiss, Cam, and s--- like that. So, that's my sound. I wanna be that dude that's creating music for those real life situations."
