Love doesn't have a great track record in 2014. The latest break-up in the music industry involves Big Sean and Naya Rivera. The couple have ended their engagement.

Tabloid magazines initially reported that the rapper cheated on the 'Glee' actress, but Big Sean's representative said this wasn't the case in a statement issued on Wednesday (April 9). He actually is the one who called off the engagement. Rivera and Big Sean got engaged in October 2013, after six months of dating.

“After careful thought and much consideration, Sean has made the difficult decision to call the wedding off,” the representative tells Us Weekly. “The recent rumors and accusations reported by so called or fake sources are simply untrue. Sean wishes Naya nothing but the best and it is still his hope that they can continue to work through their issues privately. We will not be commenting again on this matter.”

Rivera talked to Rap-Up about how happy and in love the two were back in October and was even frank about their sex life in a January interview with Cosmopolitan. Those days of openness are at least on hiatus now since she has unfollowed Big Sean on Twitter.

Maybe Sean and Rivera will work things out, but the Detroit MC will definitely have more material for his next album.
