40 Glocc Arrested for Carrying Loaded Gun
40 Glocc was arrested Sunday (Jan. 23) by San Bernardino police after officers found a loaded 9-millimeter handgun in his vehicle.
The rapper, born Lawrence White, was seated inside his black Range Rover less than a block away from the city's Arbor Terrace apartments. As part of a 2008 injunction, 40 Glocc and the Colton City Crips gang, which Glocc is suspected to have ties to, were banned from congregating and participating in criminal activity near the complex. During a scheduled patrol of the area, police came across several documented gang members as well as the 'Damn' rhymer loitering nearby around 4:30PM.
San Bernardino cops found a handgun on the passenger side of Glocc's SUV. As a result, he was booked into the Central Detention Center in San Bernardino on suspicion of various weapons violations. Several unidentified people at the scene were also arrested for violating parole.
Known for being one of California's gangsta MCs, Glocc is preparing for the March 22 release of his sophomore LP, 'N.W.A.: New World Agenda.' He also recently signed rapper Ras Kass to his Zoo Life imprint. "Big Bad 40," as he is often referred to as, is a longtime associate of 50 Cent and G-Unit.
