Uncle Murda has reportedly signed a record deal with 50 Cent’s G-Unit Records, according to AllHipHop.com. Apparently, the pair made the announcement at Club Lust in Brooklyn, N.Y., on Thursday (Dec. 29).

Both 50 and Murda have been posting photos of this purported partnership on their Instagram pages. In one photo, Fiddy and Murda are having a convo with stacks of money on the table. "This year coming is gonna be a hell of a year. @unclemurda," reads the photo's caption.

Murda joins a roster that includes 50 Cent, Tony Yayo, Lloyd Banks, Kidd Kidd and rapper-singer Rotimi.

Uncle Murda had a pretty good 2016. The Brooklyn rapper dropped a hot song called "Thot" that was a hit on social media and released a collaborative mixtape with Maino called Yellow Tape, although he did get caught up in the headlines during the deadly shooting at a T.I. concert back in May. If you recall, Troy Ave was involved in a gun battle inside Irving Plaza that left three other people wounded and Troy’s bodyguard, Ronald “Banga” McPhatter, killed.

But Murda is not done just yet. The rapper is currently working on a "Rap-Up 2016" track. His 2014 and 2015 editions are classic bangers.

Overall, it looks like Uncle Murda and 50 Cent are going out of 2016 with a bang. No pun intended.
