Travi$ Scott has found tremendous success in the last half of 2016, but it looks like he's going to have to miss out on a big accomplishment.

Yesterday, the 2016 Grammy nominations were announced, and there were a lot of surprises, both good and bad, for some of our favorite artists. Not only is Chance the Rapper making history as the first streaming-only, unsigned artist to receive several nominations for Coloring Book, but Drake's Views album is in the Album of the Year category.

While there were a lot of artists who received nominations we were hoping for, some received snubs, including Rihanna who despite earning eight nominations was shut out of the Album of the Year category for Anti, and now Travi$ Scott. The rapper released his Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight album a few months back, which was met with a lot of critical acclaim from fans and reviewers. Unfortunately, it didn't seem to make the cut for nominations for this year's awards. The G.O.O.D. Music rager took to Instagram to express his feelings.

His A&R, Sickamore, posted a photo of the Travi$ on Instagram, captioning it, "Reading the grammy nominations like...." showing the rapper looking down at his phone with a somber appearance. Scott later commented on the photo himself, writing, "So hurt man," proving that he did feel just as snubbed as fans did, who were outspoken about the news on social media all day.

Travi$ Scott doesn't seem to be the only one who was snubbed from this year's awards, YG was also cut out of the rap categories despite the release of his impressive release, Still Brazy. Do you think Travi$ was snubbed from the Grammys?
