Rick Ross’ “Santorini Greece” was a laid-back standout on his Rather You Than Me album, but The LOX jacked it and turned it into a brolic street anthem. The Yonkers trio - Jadakiss, Sheek Louch and Styles P - deliver some gritty bars over the soulful Bink! Instrumental.

"The Ghost kicks off the track reflecting on his past life as a street hustler during the '80s. “I’m in the street hall of fame / Poverty and crack in ’86, yeah, it’s all to blame / Spread all the love, save all the pain," he raps.

Jadakiss follows with his list of street codes that must be followed or else. "It's harder when you dumb, when you are smarter and simple / I spit the razor out, gave your partner a dimple / Either that, I'll put the barrel on top of your temple / They didn't want to pull the plug but the doctor convinced you."

Sheek closes out the track with reflective rhymes about beats, rhymes and life. “In the hood, to make it out, your chance is tough / I ain’t look back since we first did the deal with Puff," he raps, adding, "Back then social media was obsolete / Back then n----s had to be nice on the beat / I can't imagine no M.O.P. music for Sheek / New music nowadays don't last you but a week (damn)."

The Ruff Ryders trio will be bringing more heat this summer. They are set to headline this summer's Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival, which will take place on July 15 at the Brooklyn Bridge Park. Fellow Ruff Ryder DMX is also on the bill (hopefully, he will be out of rehab).
