It will be a Ruff Ryders reunion of sorts as DMX and The LOX will be the headliners for the 13th annual Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival. More artists will be announced in the upcoming months.

The week-long festival will run from July 10 to July 16 with the finale concert scheduled for July 15 at the Brooklyn Bridge Park. There will also be exclusive guest DJ sets by Mister Cee, DJ Rob Swift and the legendary hip-hop radio personalities Stretch & Bobbito.

In addition, Dreamville artists Bas, Cozz and Omen will perform a special hip-hop showcase at St. Ann’s Warehouse in DUMBO on July 14. During that week, an art exhibition called “Brooklyn’s Finest" will feature exclusive artwork and photography from A&R veterans Sickamore and Lenny Santiago (aka Kodak Lens).

On July 10, hip-hop icon Rakim will participate in a discussion as part of Wes Jackson’s "Told It First Hand" series at The Brooklyn Historical Society. There will also be a live broadcast of the popular podcast The Combat Jack Show.
