Soulja Boy Tell Em has finally broken his month-long silence regarding the robbery that took place on the night of his album release party. Though reps for the young rapper/dancer immediately confirmed that the robbery had occurred, Soulja boy refused to comment on the situation until last Friday, when he discussed it on a popular California radio show.

"Basically I was at my crib and I had my album release party at my club that night," he told LA radio personality, Big Boy. "I got back to my house at around 3 in the morning, and I was in the studio recording. So two of my homeboys was in the living room and Me and Arab we was in the studio...and somebody kicked in the door."

Initial reports had the whole crew being held hostage and robbed by a group of six, but this rumor was dispelled by a YouTube video posted by two men who purported to be the gunmen in question, shortly following Soulja Boy's ill-fated release party. In the video, the hooded thugs claim to have perpetrated the crime with just one gun, after the followed the teen rapper and his friends home from their release party.

While there is no evidence that confirms the authenticity of the Youtube video or the veracity of its claims, Soulja Boy offers a slightly different version of the events. "One dude ran in put the AK to my homeboy head, put him on the floor," he told Big Boy. "The other two ran in, my homeboy jumped in the other room, so the other two dudes ran back. I peeped in the door, and they running through my house with Ks and pistols, so I ducked back. I really can't dwell on what happened after that, but it was a messed up situation. I'm glad everyone made it out alive."

When asked why he was only now discussing the robbery, Soulja Boy explained, ""I really don't want to dwell on the entire situation...My music is pointed towards the kids and I don't wanna give them that bad image on what actually went down."
