It's Friday and you know what that means: another edition of Songs of the Week. Last week's lineup included cuts from Chicago upstart Tink, MMG rep Wale and a surprise track from Kid Cudi, proving 2015 has been been filled with great new music.

That lineup may have been no chump, but our picks for this week are star-studded and packed with artists that are no strangers to providing us with bangers tailor-made for a list like this. After much deliberation, we came to the conclusion that these loosies from the likes of Snoop Dogg, the Lox and Jamie Foxx are a cut above the rest and get our nod of approval. Now that we've got all of the formalities out of the way, let's run down the three best tracks the past seven days had to offer.

    "Peaches N Cream"

    Snoop Dogg Feat. Charlie Wilson

More than 20 years deep in the game, Snoop Dogg continues to churn out quality music and manages to steal the show from peers nearly half his age. In anticipation of his 13th studio album, he's back with the project's lead single, "Peaches N Cream." Produced by Pharrell and featuring Charlie Wilson, the track is a breezy, yet bouncy record perfect for the warm weather that is upon us. Adding yet another two-step classic to his arsenal, "Peaches N Cream" is a stone-cold groove and proves that while long in the tooth, Uncle Snoop's bark still has enough bite to move the needle.

    "Bring It Back"

    The Lox

How about some hardcore? Well, street rap veterans the Lox supply that and more with their latest loosie, "Bring It Back." Sheek Louch sets the track off, spitting, "I'm IMAX looking when I walk / I'm a mix between Bill Gates and Kool G. [Rap] when I talk," while Styles P follows up with standout bars of his own, rhyming "We scuba diva in Cuba, we ain't looking for fish, we looking for bricks / And I don't an old bitch when I make you sleep witta cougar." Jadakiss tags the beat out while it's sliding to home base with a closeout verse that serves as a heavy anchor. He effectively completes the cipher, which serves as another piece of evidence that the Lox are far from finished despite their lengthy tenure in the game.

    "You Changed Me"

    Jamie Foxx Feat. Chris Brown

Jamie Foxx just can't seem to lose. Whether it be making major moves in Hollywood like nabbing the role of Mike Tyson in the boxer's upcoming biopic or being regarded as one of the funniest comedic talents of his generation, the multi-talented star has enjoyed the kind of career that dreams are made of. Well, Foxx taps back into his musical side with his latest release, "You Changed Me." Featuring Chris Brown, the record is a great pick to be one of the hottest singles of the month and set up Foxx's upcoming album, his first in five years. But if "You Changed Me" is any indication, he is more than ready for the get-back.
