Snoop Dogg'Star Wars' enthusiasts are getting a kick out of a new Adidas World Cup ad, which revisits the classic bar scene in 'Episode IV: A New Hope' of the cult film series.

After securing permission from LucasFilms to edit the original scene, Adidas incorporated a new set of characters among the original alien derelicts and characters, including Obi-Wan Kenobi, Han Solo and Chewbacca, at the Mos Eisley Cantina.

Snoop Dogg, French duo Daft Punk, Oasis and soccer star David Beckham all make cameos, while Ciara can be spotted laughing it up at the bar. Snoop Dogg steals the show when finds himself in a little confrontation with character Ponda Baba. Snoop wastes no time whipping out his handy light saber and putting an end to the squabble by slicing off Baba's arm.

Since the March release of his CD/DVD combination 'More Malice,' the Long Beach rapper has made a surge in pop culture appearances. 'Tha Doggfather' appeared at the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday night (June 6) to perform his feature on Katy Perry's new single 'California Gurls.' And back in April, he appeared on CNN's 'Larry King Live' where he made it known that he would be the "perfect host to fill-in" for American Idol judge, Simon Cowell.
