Could 2016 get any weirder?

Remember when Azealia Banks got into a weird beef with Russell Crowe a couple of months back? Well, now in what has to be the weirdest year for rap beef since then, Shia Lebeouf and Soulja Boy are exchanging verbal jabs. Yes, for real.

Shia just dropped a track addressing the Atlanta rapper, who had told the actor to never, ever come to his city again after Shia dissed him during a freestyle on The Breakfast Club late last week.

“I’m an accessible spectacle/I’ll be in Atlanta when my schedule is flexible,” Shia raps on his new “Hat Trick Freestyle.”

It all started when Soulja Boy caught wind of Shia's initial freestyle where he rapped: “Not a Nautica boy, I own myself/This whole thing’s a bit absurd but on my word/Is Boat about to get this work/You spit that dirt/Him and Soulja on that shout out shit/This is not, this a murder, this is tragedy man/He’s like Lil Romeo meets Raggedy Ann."

After that, Soulja immediately went on Instagram to let the actor know that he'd better not come to Atlanta and that he should stick to acting.

“You a b--- ass n---, you can’t never come to Atlanta, you can’t never come to the streets in the hood,” Soulja Boy said. “You can never live my life, you need to stick to acting, real s--- n----. This rap s--- ain’t for you n---, for real have some n---- pull up on you, f--- Shia Labeouf… N----, f---- you talking about keep my name out your mouth, you don’t want no beef, on my mama, you better stick to acting n---- cause this s--- get real.”

We'll likely hear more from Soulja Boy, who really enjoys expressing his feelings on Instagram. Take a listen to Shia's freestyle above.
