Rotimi Cashes Out in ‘Lotto’ Video Featuring 50 Cent

Rotimi goes from rags to riches in the video for "Lotto" featuring 50 Cent.

The video starts by showing the Power actors in janitor's clothing. The crooner becomes flabbergasted when he realizes that he just won the jackpot. "I just hit the lotto," the R&B singer exclaims. He isn't keeping the $50 million to himself though; he also brings Fif along for the ride on his big pay day.

It's time to shine for the two G-Unit artists, who use the cash to update their wardrobe, buy expensive cars and serenade some beautiful women. But "Lotto" isn't just about stunting though as the lyrics give way to a more romantic theme.

"It’s just the way I feel with you, baby," Rotimi sings before finishing the the chorus with "I just hit the lotto, I just hit the lotto."

The 26-year-old has been pushing his single "Lotto" since its release in the summer. So far, it's gained over 530,000 plays on SoundCloud. But new music is not too far behind. Rotimi will release the Royal Wednesday mixtape on Nov. 4. His EP, Rotation, is also expected to drop in winter 2016.

Rotimi, who also tried his hand at a "Hotline Bling" remix, is still pursuing his acting career as well. While filming the highly anticipated third season of Starz's Power, he's also slated to appear in the film Deuces. The movie stars Lance Gross, Megan Good and Lorenz Tate. The film arrives next year.
