Alabama rapper Rich Boy is forced to pay $337,500 for the 2005 shooting of a tax accountant. Although his brother actually shot the weapon, according to the settlement Rich Boy, born Maurice Richards, has yet to pay the funds.

According to reports, Chaz Mosley who sued Richards and his brother for firing at his car won the lawsuit for the shooting that took place in Alabama. Mosley and his lawyers have trekked to Atlanta to collect on the judgment.

On July 17, 2005 Mosley claims that his car was hit by several bullets coming from the car in front of him. Richard's brother Irving was identified as the gunman and fragments from one of the bullets hit Mosely in the head. A jury awarded Mosley $312,500 in punitive damages plus $25,000 in compensatory damages.

Irving is currently serving a 10-year sentence for the incident after pleading guilty to assault and Richards was hit with probation.

Richards hit the music scene in 2007 with his single 'Throw Some D's' which peaked at number six on the Billboard Hot 100 charts.
