It's been a minute since Alabama native Rich Boy has dropped some new heat, but he's got some tricks up his sleeve for his upcoming sophomore album. The Zone 4/Interscope recording artist recently spoke on his second offering 'Resurrected in Diamonds,' the follow-up to his 2007 eponymous debut, stating that he's got some big names assisting with the project.

On the production tip, the Southern emcee stated that the album will feature production from frequent collaborator Polow da Don and Dr. Dre, with the former having already been chosen as the project's executive producer. The album has already spawned the first single, 'She Loves Me, She Loves Me Not,' and will include guest appearances from Young Money's Drake and R&B singer Lloyd.

"It's called 'Resurrected in Diamonds' 'cause it's like you know, Africans were rich in Africa," he told XXLmag.com of why he chose the title. "They had diamonds, gold, and all that shit, so we lost the ball when we were put into slavery. But now you see niggas gettin' it back, like diamonds and shit rollin' wit they crew."

The album, slated for release in the beginning of 2011, follows 'Rich Boy,' which was released in March 2007. The LP, which featured production from Polow da Don, Lil' Jon, Needlz and more, included the hit 'Throw Some D's' that passed the platinum mark in July '07.
