Fans of Oscar night are in for a 'Happy' treat this year as Pharrell Williams has been added as a performer at the 86th Annual Academy Awards ceremony.

Producers for the Academy Awards confirmed to the Associated Press Tuesday (Feb. 4) that the Grammy Award-winning producer will perform his big hit 'Happy.'

Nominated for Best Original Song, which is featured in the film 'Despicable Me 2,' Pharrell's three-minute upbeat, feel good melody is just one of his many major hits from 2013. He garnered a slew of nominations and Grammy wins including Producer of the Year and Record of the Year for Daft Punk's 'Get Lucky.'
