Casting for the N.W.A biopic continues to grow as producers have now found two actors to play legendary rapper Snoop Dogg and 'Regulate' creator Warren G.

According to the Wrap, Keith Stanfield and Sheldon A. Smith have been hired to portray Snoop and Warren G, respectively.

Stanfield is a rising young actor who currently stars in Universal's 'The Purge: Anarchy.' The 23-year-old actor won an Independent Spirit Award nomination for 'Short Term 12,' which featured his rap song, 'You Don't Know What It's Like.' Stanfield just finished shooting two major films: the MLK movie 'Selma' and Don Cheadle's biopic on Miles Davis titled 'Miles Ahead.'

Meanwhile, Smith's credits include small roles on such television programs as '90210' and 'The One Percent.'

Snoop Dogg and Warren G aren't the only notable figures in the film. Up-and-coming actor Carra Patterson will play Tomica Woods-Wright, the wife of the late rapper Eazy-E. Also, producers must find someone to portray former Death Row Records founder Suge Knight.

Stanfield and Smith join an illustrious cast that includes O’Shea Jackson Jr. as Ice Cube, Corey Hawkins as Dr. Dre, Jason Mitchell as Eazy-E, Aldis Hodge as MC Ren and Neil Brown Jr. as DJ Yella.

Cube, Dre, Matt Alvarez and Tomica Woods-Wright are among a bevy of producers attached to the film with F. Gary Gray directing the project.

‘Straight Outta Compton’ chronicles the life and music of N.W.A as Cube, Eazy-E, Dr. Dre, MC Ren and DJ Yella became the “World’s Most Dangerous Rap Group” in the late 1980s. The film will explore how the group revolutionized music and pop culture with songs about the harsh realities of living in the hood.

Production on the film has started in Compton, Calif. 'Straight Outta Compton' is set to arrive in theaters on Aug. 14, 2015.
