It's been an interesting journey for Steve Lacy, who you'll recall as the youngest member of the alternative R&B band, The Internet.

Following the release of his co-member's Syd's impressive solo project, Fin, a couple of weeks ago, as well as Matt Martian's Drum Chord Theory, the 18-year-old guitarist has dropped his own debut solo project for fans—Steve Lacy's Demo. He is now the third member of The Internet to drop their own solo album.

The quick 6-track EP has no guest features, and was reportedly all created through the GarageBand app on his iPhone. It has been released to all major streaming services, including both Spotify and Apple Music, so fans and subscribers can easily access it. The guitarist dropped a preview of the project earlier this week, with the release of "Dark Red."

It's clear that The Internet is taking over the R&B game, whether it's together or as solo artists. So far, the group has been giving fans consistent new music, but we hope that they can come back to make music collectively again soon.
