Lindsay Lohan
is having a tough month. Last Tuesday the 24-year-old actress was sentenced to 90 days in jail for probation violations stemming from a 2007 DUI case, followed by another 90 days of drug treatment upon her release. The media circus surrounding Lohan's case has finally taken a toll on the troubled actress, because she took to Twitter on yesterday (July 13) to dish out a few words for critics, which were carefully selected from the gospel of 50 Cent.

"In the words of 50 Cent...'You shouldn't throw stones if you live in a glass house and if you got a glass jaw, you should watch yo mouth'," she wrote.

Lohan's quote was expertly extracted from 50 Cent's song 'Patiently Waiting,' which appeared on his 2003 album 'Get Rich or Die Tryin.' And while we can (sort of) sympathize with Lohan's frustrations, we doubt that channeling 50 Cent is the most effective strategy for remedying any brand of legal trouble.

In the past few years, the G-Unit rapper has become notorious for stirring up beef with everyone from Taco Bell, to Rick Ross and now Diddy. His most recent stunt included starting a Twitter-petition against the mogul, for reportedly exploiting the late Notorious B.I.G. Our advice to Lindsay: Keep 50 on your playlist, but keep his quotes off your Twitter account.

Lohan is expected to appear in court on July 20 to proceed with her case.
