Lil Yachty Cops Colorful Bart Simpson-Inspired Diamond Chain [VIDEO]

Lil Yachty has acquired himself another icy piece of jewelry to add to his collection. On Saturday (June 10), the Atlanta rhymer went on his Instagram page to unveil his new “Yachty Simpson” chain.

Lil Boat’s Springfield-influenced pendant was inspired by Gucci Mane’s infamous Bart Simpson chain he wore in the late 2000’s. The "Peek-a-Boo" rapper's new chain is quite different from Guwop's pendent. Yachty added his signature red braids on his Bart Simpson piece, which is completely flushed with diamonds.

The extravagant piece was designed by Jon Guven also known as Jon the Jeweler. "Glad I could turn your vision for Yachty Simpson into a reality! You know I always got you bro!" he wrote on his Instagram page.

There's no word on the cost of the Yachty Simpson chain but it was probably very expensive. While some will argue that this is a complete waste of money, you have to admire the craftsmanship that went in to making this lavish accessory. But yes, let’s hope that Yachty is investing his monies wisely and not wasting it on jewelry.
