Migos’ Takeoff Acquires $500,000 Solar System-Inspired Diamond Chain [PHOTO]
Following in the footsteps of Quavo and Offset, Migos rhymer Takeoff has acquired himself a very expensive diamond-encrusted necklace. And yes, it’s disrespectfully icy.
According to Complex, Takeoff hired jewelry designer Elliot Avianne to designed him a solar system-inspired chain that also includes colorful iced-out baubles of the Sun, Earth, Mars and Saturn. Talk about reaching for the stars.
There’s also a space shuttle with the YRN logo replacing the ship’s NASA insignia. The entire ensemble is flushed out with luxurious diamonds, including the Gucci link. Apparently, the chain weighs 1 kilo and is covered in 200 karats of diamonds. The price tag: $500,000. Yikes!
While some will argue that this is a waste of money, you have to admire the craftsmanship of some of these gaudy pieces (props to jewelry company Avianne & Co.). But yes, let’s hope that Migos are investing their monies in other things besides jewelry.
When it comes to iced-out necklaces, Migos spare no expense. Offset is an owner of $100,000 Raindrop chain, which was inspired by his verse on "Bad and Boujee." Not to be outdone, Quavo acquired himself a $35,000 diamond “Dat Way” chain with a pendant of the French military general Napoleon Bonaparte.
Check out photos of Takeoff's icy new chain below. It's truly out of his world.
