Lil Wayne has reportedly been hospitalized on Sunday (Sept. 3) after suffering epileptic seizures. Reps for the rapper told TMZ that Weezy was found unconscious in his Chicago hotel room and was rushed to Northwestern Memorial hospital, where he had another minor seizure. Subsequently, Wayne's Las Vegas show was canceled.

"Due to unforeseen circumstances Lil Wayne will be canceling his previously scheduled performance," reads a statement fromLas Vegas' Drai's nightclub on Sunday. "Our priority is the health and well-being of our artists. Everyone at Drai's wishes Lil Wayne a speedy recovery during this time."

This medical scare comes more than a year after Wayne suffered a seizure during his flight on a private jet from Milwaukee to California. Lil Wayne suffered seizures in 2013 and the high-profile incidents left the New Orleans native in critical condition. At that time, Wayne revealed that he’d suffered from epilepsy since childhood.

"The bad news is I’m an epileptic, I’m prone to seizures," Wayne told Power 106. “Like, this isn’t my first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh seizure. I’ve had a bunch of seizures, y’all just never hear about them."

There's no word on Wayne's medical condition or whether he's been discharged from the hospital.
