Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Damn.’ Expected to Spend Second Week at No. 1 on Billboard 200
Kendrick Lamar's latest offering, Damn. is expected to spend a second week in the No. 1 slot, according to Billboard.
The album is already the biggest selling debut of any album in 2017, propelled by widespread critical acclaim for the project. Billboard predicts that in its second week, Damn., could earn around 220,000 to 240,000 equivalent album units in the week ending April 27.
In addition to already being the No. 1 album in the country, every single song on the record is currently charting on the Billboard 100. The album's lead single, “Humble,” is already at No. 1 on the Hot 100 beating out Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You.” His second single, “DNA” is at No. 4, while the moody Rihanna-assisted track, “Loyalty” is at No. 14.
K.Dot is enjoying his chart success in the best way possible—on tour. His 17-city DAMN. Tour, which also features Travis Scott and D.R.A.M. kicks off in July and wraps in August.
