About a week after debuting a pair of "Don’t Trip" pair of the Nike Cortez, Kendrick Lamar's new collaboration with Nike, Cortez Kenny, has received a release date.

The new sneakers will drop on Grammy night, which is sure to be a major time for Kendrick, since he's up for seven awards this year for his album DAMN. The new sneakers will be available starting at $100 a pair. The shoe pays homage to DAMN., with the word written on the tab of the sneaker's tongue. According to the preview, the base will be white, with Gym Red as an accent color.

In other Kendrick news, the Compton rapper will  kick off 2018 with a special halftime performance for the inaugural College Football Playoff National Championship. The concert will take place at Atlanta’s Centennial Olympic Park on Jan. 8 during ESPN’s telecast of the College Football Playoff National Championship game.

“Having the opportunity to perform at halftime of what will surely be the best game of the year between two deserving universities is truly an honor,” said Kendrick Lamar in a press release (via SB Nation). “Thank you, ESPN, for having me be the first halftime performer ever at the College Football Playoff National Championship.”

As for his sneakers, they'll be available through SNKRS when The Grammys air at 7:30 p.m. EST on Jan. 28.
