Following the powerful “The Blacker the Berry” track, Kendrick Lamar’s funky track “King Kunta” leaked online. The song is from his upcoming second album, To Pimp a Butterfly.

Much like “Blacker,” the song has a political edge to it as the Compton rhymer talks about his blackness while spitting some bravado.

“I got a bone to pick / I don't want you monkey mouth motherf---ers sittin' in my throne again (Aye aye nigga whats happenin' n----, K Dot back in the hood n----) / I'm mad (He mad) / But I ain't stressin',” he raps.

One line that seems to have everyone riled up is his riff of Nas’ “Life a Bitch” and Michael Jackson’s “Smooth Criminal,” in which he spits, “Life ain't s--- but a fat vagina / Screamin' "Annie are you ok? Annie are you ok?"

Overall, “King Kunta” is a Funkadelic-inspired track with enough rewindable one-liners to keep you scratching your head.

In the past week, we have received the album artwork and the track listing of Lamar’s To Pimp a Butterfly. In addition, K. Dot is featured on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine.

To Pimp a Butterfly will arrive in stores on March 23. You can pre-order the album at iTunes.
