Kelly Price Releases ‘It’s My Time,’ New Album Arrives in April

It's been a while since Kelly Price first hit the scene with 1998's 'Soul of a Woman,' but she's still going strong. Sixteen years after her studio debut, Price is preparing her seventh studio album, 'Sing Pray Love Vol. 1,' for an April release.

'Sing Pray Love Vol. 1' is preceded by its lead single 'Its My Time,' an empowering number that combines nighttime glitz with some funk. The songstress has been in the business for over a decade, but she ensures that her "best days is still in front of me" in a soaring, convincing voice.

'It's My Time' sounds like Price is looking to add to her seven Grammy nominations. 'Sing Pray Love Vol. 1' is the follow-up to her 2011 self-titled album. The project earned her Grammy nominations for Best R&B Performance, Best R&B Song and Best R&B Album.
