Following Ice Cube’s appearance on Real Time with Bill Maher, when he confronted the controversial host over his use of the N-Word, a fan jumped on Twitter to slam him for appearing on the show. Only one problem: the person slammed the wrong Ice.

In the photo above, you can see the Twitter user confused Ice-T with Ice Cube as she tweeted her vitriol at him for attacking Bill Maher. “Screw U 4 whining on Bill Maher. When is ur music gonna respect women? How dare U go on show and whine like this,” she tweeted.

Now if you are a follower on Ice-T’s Twitter account, you know that he doesn’t like trolls, period. It’s not unusual for him to dismantle haters on his timeline. So the veteran rapper clapped back at the angry tweeter with this vicious tweet:

In an interview with HipHopDX, Ice-T explained why he had to go hard on the person who was sending the hate on his timeline.

“I think if you’re going to come hard at somebody you need to know who you’re talking to,” he said. “I didn’t know who that was and they just decided to talk s---."

“I was minding my business,” he continues. “Cube was on Bill Maher and so he said what he had to say, and I guess this particular person felt like talking s--- and they were trying to talk s--- to him, but ended up talking s--- to me. I’m like, ‘I’m not even involved in this s---. I don’t know what the f--- you talking about.'”

Ice-T added that it's not often that people mistaken him for Ice Cube, but warns if you are going to come at him -- you better come correct. Remember, he's the Original Gangster.

Folks who saw "the ownage" on Twitter quickly created some hilarious memes about the situation. Check them out below.
