DJ Drama's 'Gangsta Grillz' series has long been one of the best places to find mixtapes from established stars and up-and-comers. With such a high release volume, Drama always has a little space to fill and one of his trusty sidekicks has long been Wu-Tang Clan-affiliate rapper LA the Darkman. It seems the two have had a falling out, though. Dram took to Twitter to apologize to the hip-hop community for ever working with LA.

"I want to apologize to the hip hop community, fans & artists, for ever putting LA the Darkman on a 'Gangsta Grillz' mixtape," he wrote last night.

It's currently unknown how the beef originated. Things went online with a series of tweets where LA seemed to claim that Drama was on drugs and attempted to ask him for help while one of his homes was being foreclosed upon. Drama then attacked back and stood by his harsh statement when fans began questioning what had occurred between the two personalities. LA semi-hilariously compared the fallout to similar fights between Cam'ron and Jim Jones or Ice Cube and Dr. Dre.

"I seen Cam'ron go thru the same s--- with Jim Jones. I seen Ice Cube go thru the same s--- with Dr. Dre," The Darkman wrote. "Man, listen you know when a person is on drugs they go on dope fiend rants & raves when the money run out!"
