Chilling R. Kelly Phone Call from One of His Accusers Surfaces Online
R. Kelly has come under fire after two more women have come forward and accused him of alleged sexual misconduct. Now a secretly recorded phone call between Kelly to one of his accusers have surfaced online.
On Saturday (May 5), TMZ posted audio of Kelly talking to the 20-year-old Texas woman who claimed that the singer infected her with a sexually transmitted disease and supplied her with drugs and alcohol.
In the audio above, it appears that Kelly is asking the woman if she has finally come to her senses after her alleged transgression. The 51-year-old singer also suggests that her parents are forcing her to file a lawsuit against him because they feel bitter about her being with him.
The accuser in the audio says that she could fly out to Chicago and meet with him to talk about her issues with him.
“I mean I don’t feel like I acted crazy, I feel like I just had a moment...I went to you and you just called me out,” says the accuser.
Kelly replies back, “I was looking for you to be humble and say, ‘I messed up, I was thinking wrong, I was thinking crazy...I don’t blame you for acting like that, this is who you are.”
“I’m not talking about this no more,” he continues. “When you wanna talk to me come and talk to me. I don’t talk on the phone...I’m not getting into that.”
As we previously reported, the unidentified woman filed a complaint in April 2018 with the Dallas Police Department claiming she met Kelly last June when she was 19, and claims that he infected her with the STD in Dallas, Texas, in December. The complaint also charges that Kelly was grooming the woman to join his alleged “sex cult.”
The accuser is also preparing to file a federal civil complaint against the veteran R&B singer. The woman's Philadelphia-based attorney, Lee Merritt, added that during their relationship she was the victim of several forms of criminal misconduct by Kelly, including furnishing alcohol and illegal drugs to a minor and aggravated assault.
A rep for R. Kelly says the singer “categorically denies all claims and allegations” in the accuser's complaint.
